Phillip Hall

Phillip Hall, BCom(Hons), BSc(Hons), MA

Phillip is a Monash University PhD student, under the supervision of Prof. Paul Fitzgerald.  Phillip completed undergraduate degrees in economics and psychology at the University of Otago, before completing his Masters degree at the University of Arizona.  His primary research interest is in the emerging field of neuroeconomics and his research topic is focused on how clinical depression affects economic and social decision-making. 
 
Prior to undertaking post-graduate studies, Phillip had a short-lived career as a policy analyst back in New Zealand.  Despite this, Phillip has an on-going interest in the potential contribution psychology can make in helping solve public policy problems.
