Rachel Batty
Rachel Batty BSc (Hons), Ph.D. (current)
Rachel Batty is an RMIT University Ph.D. Candidate based at MAPrc. She is interested in the cognitive neuropsychiatry of psychoses and is currently investigating the risk factors, phenomenology and aetiology of psychosis following traumatic brain injury. Prior to this she examined event-related potentials (ERPs) during face perception in extremes of schizotypal personality. She has published a manuscript looking at semantic disorganisation in schizophrenia and bipolar disorder, with another accepted on the formation and maintenance of delusions post traumatic brain injury, and a further three in preparation. She has given four oral presentations and four poster presentations at national and international conferences, and attended a number of other national conferences as a delegate.
