Vivien Ong joined MAPrc in June 2009 and is currently working on the ‘A Definitive Estrogen Patch Trial’ which looks at comparing the effectiveness of adjunctive transdermal estradiol to adjunctive placebo in the treatment of acute psychotic symptoms.
 
Vivien graduated from Monash University with a Bachelor of Biomedical Science in 2007. After graduation, she participated in research on kidney stem cells regeneration with the University before moving onto palliative oncology clinical trials at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre in 2008. Since then, she has developed a keen interest in clinical research. She is also currently studying for the Master of Public Health at Monash University.
